Website redesign for HVAC companies.
Your demand arrives in two spikes a year, and most HVAC sites are structured as though it arrives evenly.
The first hot week of the year decides your summer.
HVAC traffic is violently seasonal. For a few weeks in each direction, a large number of people search the same thing at the same time and book whoever answers. A site with a Heating tab and a Cooling tab treats those weeks as equivalent to February, which means the highest-intent traffic of the year lands on a generic homepage and has to go hunting.
- Heating and cooling split into tabs, so neither is ever prominent in its season
- "Contact us" as the main action, when the visitor wants a specific appointment slot
- Maintenance agreements — the recurring revenue — reduced to a sidebar link
- No financing information, on a page selling a five-figure system replacement
- Nothing that separates an emergency no-heat call from a routine tune-up
Three visitors, three different jobs.
A redesign that treats these as one audience serves none of them. Each gets its own path through the site.
The system that just failed
No heat in January, no cooling in July. They want the soonest available visit and a rough idea of cost. Speed and clarity beat everything else on the page.
The replacement decision
An old system limping along, and an owner deciding whether to repair or replace. They need sizing guidance, efficiency plainly explained, financing terms and what the install day actually involves.
The maintenance customer
The most profitable relationship you have, and usually the least served by the site. Plan tiers, what an inspection covers and how to enrol should be a real page, not a paragraph.
What that looks like rebuilt.
A concept for heating & cooling company, not client work — the business is invented and the phone number is fictional.
- Seasonal services surfaced instead of hidden behind Heating/Cooling tabs
- Booking replaced a generic contact form as the main action
- Maintenance plans given a real page rather than a sidebar link
Illustrative mock-ups. The business names, logos, contact details, imagery and ratings shown are fictitious and exist for demonstration only. No real company is depicted, and any resemblance to an actual business is coincidental.
What gets fixed first.
In order. The review tells us how much of this list your site already handles.
- A homepage that leads with whichever season it currently is
- Booking with real availability, replacing a generic contact form
- Maintenance plans given a proper page with tiers and enrolment
- Financing and rebates presented where the replacement decision is made
- Emergency and routine paths visibly separated from each other
What hvac companies ask us.
Can the site change with the season automatically?
Yes, and it is one of the highest-value things we build for HVAC companies. The homepage hero, the featured services and the primary action can all switch on a date or be flipped manually when the weather turns early. You are not rebuilding the page twice a year.
We already use a booking and dispatch system. Does it have to change?
No. ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber and similar tools are integrated into the new site. The goal is that booking starts on your page rather than dumping the visitor into an unbranded widget three clicks later.
Is it worth redesigning right before our busy season?
Usually the opposite — we would rather launch in a shoulder month so the site is settled and indexed before demand arrives. If you come to us in June we will say so, and we will scope what can safely be fixed now versus what should wait until autumn.
The same problem, different business.
Want this for your HVAC business?
Send us your current site and we will tell you which of the changes above would make the biggest difference first.
No obligation, and no pressure to rebuild everything.
